Vientiane
Vientiane is the capital and the largest city of Laos and is located in the Mekong Valley. The city was settled in the 10th century and became the capital of the Kingdom of Lan Xang (milion elephants) in the 16th century. In comparison to the capitals in other Southeast Asia countries, Vientiane is rather smaller city with relaxing atmosphere and many temples.
Luang Prabang
Luang Prabang is located in north central Laos and is its former capital. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is famous for its numerous temples, monasteries, traditional Lao wooden houses and a large steep hill where sits Wat Chom Si. Luang Prabang will amazed the visitors by its cleanliness.
